With Britons having bought more than 47m bottles of gin in the last year and gin sales sales having doubled in value over the last six years to £1.2bn, many distillers are fast outgrowing their production and customer facing facilities.

Working with our client Cotswolds Distillery we have recently finished on-site with a new bottling hall and we have now been given the green light on the new Visitor Centre. Work on-site is expected to start in September for completion by the end of Q1 2019. The new, bigger and better facility will offer the customer the same fantastic experience but in a much improved environment. An audio visual room, tasting room, an exhibition area, shop and a cafe with an out-door seating terrace area are all included in the design.

The carefully considered design uses the famous yellow Cotswold stone, natural timber cladding, zinc roof and ‘Crittall’ style metal glazing. All chosen to compliment the existing site, the unique beauty of the Cotswolds countryside that surrounds it and to reflect elements of the materials used in the distillery process.
