MDG Architects are delighted to announce that a key milestone for the new WAGO UK & Ireland Headquarters facility has been achieved with the completion of the steel frame and decks for 63,000 sqft of office and production area. The project is progressing well with MCS Group Ltd reporting a target completion date for Q4 2024.
This highly sustainable project will include a range of highly innovative low carbon embodies design features, including automatic solar shading, rainwater and greywater harvesting, exceptional thermal envelope performance and low energy operating systems all controlled by a state-of-the-art BMS. All integrated with WAGO electric components and control systems.
The footage shows the first of two phases of development for WAGO, and will be the first employment use development within the wider Houlton masterplan, on the former Radio Rugby site. The wider site is currently being developed by Urban & Civic to include 6,200 homes, community buildings, retail, education and leisure operators.
