MDG were appointed by Claremont Property Group to undertake a feasibility study on the conversion of the existing Nightclub and Bar into apartments. MDG located the site and introduced Claremont whom purchased the property following a brief feasibility period which also included options for a full retail environment on the ground floor.

On analysis, and owing to the location of the site, it was decided that a full residential conversion, albeit retaining the existing small retail units to its Market Street elevation, would be the most appropriate and in keeping. The refurbishment incorporates 14 studio, 1 bed and 2 bed apartments including car parking and an amenity provision.

MDG have submitted the scheme for planning and we are hopeful, once approved, that the development can enhance the local area and bring an important landmark of Stourbridge back into use. The works are anticipated to start in the summer of 2019 and will run for approximately 32 weeks.
